Deeply rooted in the arts at a very young age and having remained actively involved all her life, Marygrace is an accomplished fine artist who is passionate about sculpture. Having worked in many mediums over the years, from clay to wire and paper, she finds her personality is best suited for the challenge of giving new life to discarded metal.
The designs of Frank Lloyd Wright, David Smith and Alexander Calder motivate her love for pattern, line and form. Her influence as a graphic designer is evident in her sculptures with shapes that connect, repeat and compliment. Architecture and nature; modern design; patterns and other artists; supply a multitude of diverse shapes and patterns for her work. Her recent exposure into the fiber arts has influenced her style and can be seen in her latest series "Resolutions."
