Sculptor, MG Perkins has been chosen for a special commission for
Florida State University.

The renovations are taking place in the Stone Building and a beautiful expansion by architects Elliot Marshall Inner P.A. for the College of Education building has been realized. The new design compliments the grounds of FSU and really makes a statement!

The commissioned sculpture will be installed at the entrance to the "Deans' Suite" in front of a curved wall alcove. Dean of Education, Marcy Driscoll (fourth from left) contacted the artist personally. Images of the installation will be posted in future newsletters once the sculpture is completed. Mid-November is the projected installation date which coincides with the Grand Opening and FSU Homecoming Weekend.

Joining over 100 artists in an Imagination Collaboration, every 6 weeks exchanging a piece of newly created artwork and receiving another to attach. Plan to be finished sometime March of 2008 with over 100 sculptures created that can be viewed online and throughout the US at different galleries.
